Happy Chinese New Year everyone!
I'm just about to pop out the house to my grandparents for a mini celebration dinner (not as fancy as if i were back in HK/China though...) so I'll make this first blog quick.
As I'm new, the following pieces vary from recent to outdated, and I'm afraid there aren't many...YET! I'm in a rush so all were within 2 mins easy-access (hence, title) on my desktop...
Untitled (watercolour) - view of my neighbourhood surroundings
Untitled (watercolour) - another pretty view!
Couldn't tell you where this is though - somewhere in the UK? Magaret Ellis might let you know if you ask her nicely :) (I have her to thank for all this watercolour practice)
Anemones (watercolour) - an attempt at a bit o' impressionism too :)
Winter Melt (watercolour) - I didn't fancy having too many 'untitled' pieces but by all means I'll consider suggestions of names...?
Untitled (Acrylic) - I can tell you though: inspired by a building in HK!
Untitled (watercolour + salts) - my own arrangement of flowers whilst experimenting with salt, belive it or not
Untitled (Acrylic + Modrock) - explosion, maybe? Calamity, perhaps? Inside My Head?
...well, not really, but if you can think of any better titles than feel free to comment!
Apologies for the poor quality. My scanner/printer is limited to A4 sizes so I've had to use camera instead!
Also, as you can see, I'm still at the 'experimental' stage; trying out anything and everything (artwise!), thus my 'own style' hasn't fully developed yet...
Still, by all means, enjoy!
Gemr.
